Ok, trying out yet another photo sharing web site. I think this is number 3 or 4. My goal is to host the non-travel, non-people photos on a cross-platform site that is easy to use and does not show advertising. So far so good...

Obviously this is a great project for a retired person as it will no doubt take some time. Lots to learn. I'm hoping a few hours a week will get me exposed to the basics of using the Zenfolio tools. Then it's on to getting the content prepared and uploaded.

Most of the sites I have examined seem to be geared for professionals who want to sell photos. I'm not really interested in selling, so that eliminates having to learn about all the commerce side of the site.

The best guess for launch, is to get it all ready before Summer officially starts on June 21. We'll see how that goes!

Should have a beta version out soon to Friends and Family.
